As for the silly cleanse, I’ll keep it up. I only have a week to go. And this week includes the exciting fasting stretch! I’ll just look at this popcorn incident as a mid-way celebration of food. I read recently that it’s impossible to track an asteroid headed to earth and more impossible to stop it. Impact could occur any day without warning and within a day of it colliding with the earth, about a billion people would perish. I also read that Yellowstone National Park is a cauldron of magma that violently erupts every 600,000 years. The last time it spewed its catastrophic calamities was roughly 600,000 years ago. With this being stated, I want to think that I enjoyed my life and ate my favorite foods during what could potentially be the last days of civilization, as we know it.

God has totally put this on my heart for the last few months. With me going into medical school, I'm determined to make a difference in this world. I want to be where these poor babies are, and help them, and their families, and their friends, and their friends friends, and their families.
Regardless of how much they can afford.

I've never thought I really fit in with the American culture-- you know, making lots of money, buying a nice house, nice cars. It would be really nice to have all of those things, but I can be doing something so much more rewarding, and still not have the big house, and nice cars.

I'm just praying that this really is what God wants for me. Ya never know! God could have something completely different in mind!
